no. i hate gay people. they should be burned in hell! :devil .....well..anyhow.

That's just dandy isn't it, because I don't like homophobes.

Any more of that rubbish here and you're banned, no ifs or buts.

I'm afraid...

Just because you don't like gay people or don't think that there values are right doesn't mean that you're a homophobe, that's just a word the gays and gay activists created so people wouldn't openly be anti-gay. On that note, leave em all alone, it's not worth the effort.

There's a huge difference between disliking gays or not thinking think that their values are right and stating that you hate them and want them to be burnt in hell.

If you wanted them to burn in hell, then that would mean you disagree with their moral values. If you disagree with their moral values, you probably wouldn't be opposed to them burning in hell either. As far as I am concerned they are the same thing. Of course I in no way am supporting violence, hate-mongering, or god forbid--making a moral judgement (shudders).

Ziggy and mountaindud make valid points. On the flip side, it could generalized that people threatened by heterosexuality and advances (aka sexual harassment in a general scale) would be heterophobes. It's an interesting way of looking at the world.

But it's tragic that people like dragonforce still exist. The principle of people being 'excised to hell' simply because of a genetic trait gives creedance to slavery, the holocaust (both in Japan and Germany), the mass genocide of Christians in the Roman empire, and all other forms of human persecution.

We get one life, why do people insist on ruining other's lives? For what benefit?

At this current juncture I'm finding your existence offensive, but I'm not wishing death or eternal damnation on you.

It's not a liberal or conservative thing, it's not a religious or pagan thing, it's a common sense and decency thing. Any religion that promotes the destruction of 'God's children' is hipocripsy and hopelessly mired in the dark ages. Not only that, but it's an admittance of God being fallible, since if all humans are made in the image of God, then it would be admitting God 'made a mistake'.

Before I go on a long tirade of all things 'evil' and 'unpatriotic', I'll stop by simply saying dragonforce, you're woefully misinformed. If you have problems with your own sexuality (or whatever the problem is), you should consider self-reflection before wishing damnation on the lives of others.

Has anyone even considered that perhaps he was kidding? I don't think anyone is this day and age is still that ignunt (ignorant).

That is a completely wrong statement. It has NOTHING to do w/ genetics. If you looked into it you would be suprised at the number of homosexuals (male and female) have been sexually abused in sum sort of a way. yes, this includes weird type of pornography at young ages. This account for a good %80 of the gay community.....they have had trauma sumwhere in their past life and this is what stems from it. once again....THERE IS NOTHING GENETIC ABOUT IT! You could argue wether or not u are born that way...but it's still not genetics. There is no genetic code that tells you to like boys, haha. or members of the same sex.

That's a matter of controversy. Recent studies have found that there's no on/off homo/hetero gene, but a number of variations in between.

Furthermore, that study doesn't take into account how many people were sexually abused and not gay.

...What the hell why would you get banned?

It probably brought his warning percent up a few levels, but one comment wouldn't get you banned. Or maybe it would. I don't know, I never read the rules because theyll just make me want to break them.

I'm afraid...

Well it just seemed like he was expressing his opinion it didnt look like he did anything rule-breaking...ly

It seems not hurting anyone's feelings is more important than the first ammendment. BUT messageboards are private organizations and they are free to make any rules they deem necesary. I believe there is a rule against hateful comments aimed at specific groups of people.

EDIT:dragonforce- what does cyao mean in that context?

I'm afraid...

If I'm an arachnophobe, I'm terrified of spiders. I wouldn't chase after them and show them who's boss, they would chase ME off! So... if I'm a homophobe, I run away screaming in terror when I encounter someone that I believe to be a homosexual?
