that's referring to rape, isn't it?

I saw nothing to suggest that Tamar opposed the intercourse per se. She saw preserving Judah's bloodline as her duty, and she goes so far as to trick Judah into having sex with her for exactly that purpose (he even says that she was right to do so).

Like some other religeons, like Mormon, they look good on the surface, but have some weird stuff when you dig deaper.

At least they don't seem as cultish as Mormon and Jehovahs Witnesses.

I personally don't believe in "religion" as most people know it. I believe in having a personal relationship with God instead of simply following a set of rules. I still try to follow "rules" so to speak, but only because I believe God wants me too. I don't believe any works of any kind will get you to heaven.

It's not what you do, it's who ya know --- so to speak

whgat the...moron? who you calling a moron rocket boy?

....oh wait..its mormon  ..i said nothing..

I've always heard it was rape

Guess I could look into it more

sounds to me like it was a customary practice as stated in Deuteronomy 25:5,6 though im not sure if it was what the Lord told them to do
