Wav / MP3 to Dolby Digital

Ok iv been looking around on google and havent been able to find a program that is able to make this conversion. Besweet is supposidly able to but the sound doesnt work in all DVD players because its not to the exact standard (especially Pioneers) Are there any programs out there that you guys know of that do this?

I have a panasonic DVD player so i imagine it would work, but if i can id like to make my DVDs as compatible with all players as possible.

Since any encoder needs to have a Dolby license to make DD tracks you'll need to look into one of the slightly more expensive video editing tools or DVD authoring tools. I know that both Adobe Encore and Adobe Premiere Pro have DD 5.1 encoding in them. The cheaper sub $100 consumer DVD authoring programs MIGHT have it but for only 2 channel audio. Best bet is to read about each one. You'll be hard pressed to find an encoder for free though.
