Need help finding genesis game name

back in the day, there was this one game for the genesis, i rented/bought. You got to pick a wizard, archer, or warrior. You would level up like in king of dragons. You would also get better armor and it would show up on the player you were playing. The archer was a chick and near the end she got an attack where she could get a shitload of arrows and fire them. The first level was like a lava, volcano, cavern type area with greyish? type rock. If you know what im talking about please tell me what it is. Thanks in advance.

I'd guess Arcus Odyssey. The first thing that came to mind was Blades of Vengance, but I'm almost certain that's not it.
