good deal?

since the lasted computer building ive worked with was p2 system and not know alot about the new stuff today i wanted to know if what i got for 70 bucks was a good deal:

I will xp333-r version 2.1 motherboard with

ddr333/266/200 Sdram support

sockt a type amd athlon xp/athlon/duron cpu support

2X 184-pin DDR Dimm slots

AGP 4x/2x mode support

on board ATA 13 IDE RAID

Dual ATAA 133/100/66 channel

onboard 6-channel hardware sound

with a

AMD athlon XP 2500+ with 333mhz front bus size

want to know if i got a good deal and whare would be a good place to find a cheap sturdy computer case
 
the 2 dimm slots will limit you somewhat, especially if you want to get a gig or more of ram. youll have to stick with 512 or higher sticks which can be pricey. never heard of that mobo company but with the cpu you got id say it was a deal.
 
Not bad at all, the chip is worth about about $50 on it's own.

And the board will get you by for now...

512MB sticks aren't really that different in price than a pair of 256MB sticks. Iwill isn't the best board maker, but if it works, who cares. It wasn't expensive.
