32X cd games

Can someone explain these too me. How many games were released? How did they work? Did you get a CD and a cart? What benefits did they have over ordinary mega cd games?

There were only a handful of these games. They were just a CD. The 32X has code in its BIOS to boot off both carts and CDs. All the 32X CD games that were released were just FMV games and only used the 32X to get more colors though in theory all the processing power of the 32X is available to them.

there were 5 32X CD games released:

Night Trap

Corpse Killer

Slam City with Scottie Pippen

Fahrenheit

Supreme Warrior

There were plans to release Wirehead, Surgical Strike, and Midnight Raiders, but they never made it out. Those three were completed or nearly completed.

The SegaBase archive, http://segacd.org/segabase/index.html, lists many more, but I don't know anything else about those.

There's not much reason to have them unless you're a hardcore collector.

wasn't T-Mek also released for the 32X CD combo ???

No. Those mentioned above are the only 5 commercially released 32X CD titles.
