An HKT-01 Dreamcast Development Box can not only be used to develop and play prototype HKT-06 Dreamcast games, but it can also allow users to edit/hack data on Dreamcast games and check their code without having to burn multiple CD-Rs.

The same application used to setup and run Dreamcast game data off the hard drive of an HKT-01 can also be used to create log files of all of the data being executed while running a Dreamcast game. This information is helpful in locating exact addresses of certain files which are required when playing a game. Continue reading for more information.

Interesting :) maybe you have the scud race demo and you could log what's done by this game. There could help to find a way to run it on a DC.

I have the Scud Race demo but unfortunately it only ran on the older NEC Arc1A PowerVR PCI Board (a.k.a. Set 2.x Dreamcast Development Kit).

Is there really no way to "hack" it ?
