    Are there diff. versions of Phantasy Star 1?

    I swear that I read one place that there were two US releases of Phantasy Star 1 - one in 1987, and another in 1988. And there was some slight variation either in a character name or item name. FWIW, I had a version of PS1 that was made in the early 90s after Sega got all their rights back...
