I had something like that happen recently.
For some reason I restarted my PC, which I don't do too often, and it dropped back from a 200MHz FSB to 166MHz. The motherboard reporter said something about the overclock failing which intrigued me. I took the side of my case off to see if anything was...
If nothing else it comes down to the fact that the GameCube is a current generation console that is still (in theory) making money for Nintendo.
Yes, I know, it doesn't make it any more legal to pirate (or media shift for those with the hardware) N64 games, but there is a slight moral difference...

I've become hooked on handheld gaming since I bought a DS for my daughter and I'm on the look out for some good GBA games.
Even though it isn't clearly expressed on the forums, discussion of current console software piracy is discouraged here.
Go try Google, and please don't bring it up here again.

I haven't played handheld games since I stopped playing my Nintendo Game and Watches over a decade ago... :blink:
However, I've been pressured into buying a DS for my little one for her birthday. It's going to be a Candy Pink one. :D
You actually get quite a bit of video game ads on TV over here in the east. Mainly for PS2 and Xbox - mind you I can't remember seeing any Gamecube ads since it was launched. :blink:
