The "Aluminium Foil Tape" roll should cost a little under $3, give or take. It will give you a cleaner result than if you use normal kitchen foil.
It will fix the cartridge's temperament! :colgate:
My general advice for CD-R & weak lasers would be as follows:-
1- Grease the metal rails, torque gears, & drive array tracks with clear liquid silicone (instead of cream) before tweaking any laser pots.
2- Use TDK and/or Kodak CD-Rs.
3- Burn ISOs > BINs (preferably the former) at the slowest...
I realised (the hard way) that different systems prefer different types of CD-R media. Meaning that the brand will make a BIG difference when you are burning images to disc.
TDK works 100% on Model 1s, and maybe (just maybe) KODAK CD-Rs. Stay away from Verbatim & SONY discs.
Beautiful work! This game is really a "hidden gem" which deserves the care you're giving it :angelic:
Thank goodness for the kind & generous people such as yourself in our retro gaming communities!!!
I have not played that compilation yet, but it seems that you're onto something regarding the English option:
Found this on Reddit about the same issue.

Thanks a lot for your great work. I'm kinda bummed I was late to the audition party because I'm running a professional studio, but there will always be next time!
Wishing ya'll the best with it.
